Rended Heart partners with individuals and entities to provide essential services free of charge to our client base. These partnerships are close to our heart and make the difference in the quality and success of our program.
Basic Needs
It seems hard to imagine that in a metropolitan city such as Kansas City clients have been punished or suffered through intentional deprivation of food, water and or shelter. However, this is frequently the case for victims of human trafficking. Clients often come to us without personal possessions, hungry and in desperate need of basic human necessities. Ensuring these needs are met is step one in the Restoration process. We strive not only to connect our clients with resources, but also to improve their self-worth with quality services our professional partners provide, including:
- Clothing
- Shelter
- Food and Water
- Personal Care Items

Job Skills
Many clients have been victimized since they were minors and denied access to education and opportunities to develop the skills necessary to provide for themselves. Clients needing these service are often graduates of a restoration or reintegration program who benefit from a little extra support. Our partners work with each client to develop skills necessary to sustain restoration in the following areas:
- Obtaining a GED
- Job Preparation
- Developing Marketable Skills
- Computer Literacy
- Providing Entry Level Jobs or Internships
Are you or your organization able to partner with us to offer job skill training or experience to our clients?
Life Skills
Clients often have lived in a state of fright and confusion. They have been denied the right to learn how to care for themselves and their families. Our client advocates work with each client to help them identify the skills needed to empower them to gain confidence and the ability to take care of themselves at the most basic level. Some of the life skills our partners provide include:
- Self-Care
- Home Economics
- Personal Finances
- Housing
